Change is the one constant that exists in any business or vocational environment, whether self-imposed or initiated externally. Priorities shift, targets move, expectations rise and goalposts widen. The needs of clients, colleagues, staff and stakeholders i.e. the ‘people’ at the centre of things, develop. These changes may require radical shifts in established roles or the enhancement of skills; they may merely need recognition and resolving on an existing course. Whatever the context, knowing personal or organisational change is necessary is just the first step; accessing the motivation, skills and commitment to achieve the change is the journey.
